n Wednesday 12th of October Art Wednesday celebrated the launch of AWE Magazine in style hosting a ‘rave in a cave’ at Cuckoo Club.

The party played host to dj set by Carsten Klemann (resident dj at Watergate & Panorama Bar, Berlin) and drinks were kindly supplied by Iceberg Vodka & Asahi Beer.

AWE Magazine is a new bi-annual, arts & culture publication AWE (Art Wednesday Editorial) magazine with Editor-in-Chiefs James Penfold & Max Bergius at the helm. Maya Singer is the Fashion Director, assisted by Nura Khan. Features Editor Brooke Le Poer Trench, Art Feature Editor is Christine Messineo, art direction from Elke Hanspach and Acid Polka-Auk is the Photo Editor.
Featuring both established and emerging artists, the title aims to “provide a platform for all contributors to push themselves creatively in a way they have never been allowed to previously in any other publication”; at the heart of the magazine is the art of storytelling and covers everything from graffiti, fiction writing to sustainability. Contributors include: Paola Kudacki, Lily Cole, Maryna Linchuck, William Eadon, Scott Trindle, The Selby, Robert Wilson, Luis Stephens and Jessica Brinton but to name a few.
