Luxury British interiors brand House of Hackney enter the ready-to-wear market with their first clothing collection combining the brand’s signature prints and quality with their Made in England ethos.
With the founder’s background in fashion the initial move into ready-to-wear came by an invitation from hip US brand Opening Ceremony to design a ready- to – wear collection. Citing grunge and early Laura Ashley as references, House of Hackney takes their twisted toile de jouey and ombre’d florals to a collection of baby doll dresses, mohair knitwear, velvet dungarees and button-front mini skirts that have a gothicky Lolita charm.
