The 35th Annual Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Festival

The 35th Annual Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Press Conference was held on Thursday, June 5th sponsored by AsianInNY.com, Bruce Cost Ginger Ale, ByeJoe, and Fushimi. Executive director of CAPA Stephen Chen, Gen Artistic Director Wan Zhao and renowned Asian American photographer Corky Lee discussed about the history, the background, the Gen project, show details, with brief performances by the dancers. « more »

Time for Taiwan- Restaurant Month

Since 2013, the Overseas Community Affairs Council has actively promoted the Overseas Quality Restaurant (OQR) selection program and awarded restaurants the OQR emblem so that outstanding Taiwanese restaurants can be easily recognized by the overseas Taiwanese community and friends of Taiwan. This year, a jointly-organized 2014 Time for Taiwan-Restaurant Month event will be held to showcase the high quality restaurants that passed the evaluation.
