ASIANINNY.COM CELEBRATES LUNAR NEW YEAR

New York, NY February 15 – AsianinNY.com, New York’s premier online destination for networking in the Asian community and multicultural entertainment, will welcome the year of the Tiger with a celebration of Lunar New Year featuring an international lineup of performers on Saturday, February 20th, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at Bennett Media Studio, 725 Washington Street in the West Village.

Presiding over the entire night’s festivities as MC will be Esther Ku, one of the top ten best comedians in NBC’s Stand-up for Diversity Showcase, a Season Six finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and a featured regular in the Boston International Comedy Festival and the New York Underground Comedy Festival.

Guests at this fete of Asian culture will be entertained by Philip Galinsky, a co-creator of the Manhattan Monologue Slam who is regularly seen on Comedy Central, MTV, A&E, ESPN Classic, and USA Networks; rock singer/songwriter Tora Brava, who has toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and North America; and The Hsu-nami, a progressive rock band of international fame which had a song featured during the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. The event will also feature a fashion show sponsored by designer Joyce Huang, introducing her new collection for Lucullen, a high-end fashion brand that has enjoyed worldwide success launching various collections.
