J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) has plans to open its resources fund to Asian investors on March 1st 2011.

Report says that the asset management arm of New York based J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) will open its $10 billion global natural resources fund to Asian investors this year.

This move by the banking giant will be directed by its Australian arm.

Peter Horn, Chief Executive of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM)’s Australian unit said, “Expansion into more emerging countries has the potential to add significant funds under management into the fund.”

The fund arm relocated Stuart Connell, a senior portfolio manage from London, to Melbourne last November to help its Asian business ‘)}
