AsianInNY will be exhibiting at Asian Power Summer Concert!
Make music New York is a city-wide free music festival held in June and this year will be its 5th year anniversary of the event. Every summer, there are more than one thousand venues all over New York City participating in this music festival.

Queens Crossing Mall has been part of this event for the last 3 years and the performances at the venue have always been of a great turnout and a real crowd pleaser. This year, the theme of the concert at Queens Crossing Mall will be titled “Asian Power!” and the show will consist of performances by famous Asian American bands/individual artists coinciding with booths vending delicious food and drinks to accommodate the attending guests.
The concert will be held at the Queens Crossing Outdoor Plaza with six renowned bands/artists all from your very own– New York City. Hsu-Nami, lead by a Chinese musician Jack Hsu, became known as the first “Progressive Erhu Rock” band in the world. Cosplay vocalist Reni Mimura has released two full-length albums and a photo book in Japan. EXP, who has worked with famous Korean Hip-Hop groups/artists to the likes of Drunk Tiger, is a rapper and an A&R for SM Entertainment Family Group MarCan Entertainment. Adding to the list, a Jason Mraz echoing acoustic vocalist Brian Hong, a brave and bold Japanese punk rock band Uzuhi and a Korean Hip-Hop female duo Misnomer(S) will all be on stage to bring a variety of energy and vibe.
It will be a beautiful night of summer fun, and free raffles will be held throughout the event giving out prizes to the likes of: iPad 2, Swarovski necklaces, Mango handbags, trendy accessories, brand name cell phones, Rose House tea sets, gift cards from Mulan Restaurant, Koreana Restaurant, Paris Baguette and more!
