Director Tsui Hark was honored tonight ( July 11th 2011) at the New York Asian Film Festival with the Star Asia Lifetime Achievement Award!

The New York Asian Film Festival recognizes Tsui Hark (??) extraordinary, lifelong contributions to Hong Kong cinema, especially after his latest film, DETECTIVE DEE AND THE MYSTERY OF THE PHANTOM FLAME (????????), was a huge box office hit and won “Best Director” at the Hong Kong Film Awards 2011.  One of the most popular Hong Kong film director Patrick Lung Kong also attended the event.
