School's Out Program at the New York Chinese Cultural Center

The New York Chinese Cultural Center (NYCCC) announces the registration for its School’s Out Program is now open! The School’s Out Program is a five-day Chinese cultural mini-camp for children ages 4-9 when school is closed.

The first School’s Out session runs from December 26th to December 30th, 2011 when school is closed for the holiday. The program includes daily Chinese dance, gymnastics, Mandarin, and arts & crafts classes. The schedule starts at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m., and tuition for this five-day program is only $300. This is an affordable and great option for working parents that are looking for special activities for their children when school is out. Registration must be completed one week in advance. Founded in 1974, the New York Chinese Cultural Center is a performing arts and educational organization that promotes the understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture. We continue to fulfill our mission by offering professional classes, workshops, and performances in traditional dance, arts, and culture. NYCCC’s own School of the Arts offers a rich and comprehensive curriculum of traditional and folk dance, Chinese dance technique, martial arts, calligraphy, painting, arts and crafts, Chinese language all year-round on weekends. NYCCC’s classes are widely accommodating and affordable to all. All classes are taught by the most highly acclaimed and professionally trained instructors. On December 17th, 2011, parents, friends, and family are invited to join NYCCC in their Annual Open House.
