14th ANNUAL COSTUME DESIGNERS GUILD AWARDS

The 14th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards promises to be a star-studded event in celebration of excellence in film, television and commercial costume design. The winners will be revealed at the Awards gala hosted by award winning film and television actress, Jane Lynch, with LACOSTE as presenting sponsor, on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the Beverly Hilton.

LACOSTE has been a long?time supporter of the Costume Designers Guild Awards and returns for the second year as the Presenting Sponsor. LACOSTE has been featured in numerous films such as Hitch, The Royal Tenenbaums, Lost in Translation and Syriana, as well as television shows including Entourage, How I Met Your Mother and The OC.

DISARONNO will be returning for the second year as the Supporting Sponsor of the Costume Designers Guild Awards. Committed to celebrating and supporting the film industry on a global level, DISARONNO recently made a cameo appearance in the 2011 film New Year’s Eve as well as partnering in the creation of Documentario DISARONNO, a documentary short by emerging filmmaker Bao Nguyen.

The Costume Designers Guild was founded in 1953 by a group of 30 motion picture costume designers and was created in response to the changing needs of the movie industry. The Costume Designers Guild promotes the artistry, technical expertise and creative vision of their union members in the field of film and television costume design. Today, its membership consists of over 750 members and includes motion picture, television, and commercial costume designers, assistant costume designers and illustrators throughout the world.
