Indian Actress Prerna Wanvari to Present at the 40th International Emmy® Awards

Indiantelevision.com announced the US debut of Prerna Wanvari, acclaimed Indian actress and entertainer who will present an International Emmy Award in New York on Monday, November 19 at a Black-Tie gala event.

Prerna’s dramatic roles have included leads in highly rated Indian tv series Bandini, as Ronit Roy’s daughter, Kadambari transforming from a run-away bride to a good wife to two husbands and grown up sons; In Parichay, as Raveena Chopra, she walked the thin line of loyalty and betrayal both with her brother, Samir Soni and her husband. She also had a featured role in Gumraah.

An accomplished dancer, Prerna’s televised dance roles include: performances with Terence Lewis in Nach Le Ve – Season 2, where she reached the second level of the reality show, and with Saroj Khan in Nach Le Ve – Season 3, where she reached the Finale, showcasing her versatility in Jazz, Hip hop and contemporary dance forms. She also performed at several televised events such as Rang De Colors, The Indian Telly Awards, The New Talent Awards, among others. She is currently appearing in an upcoming Indian play, The Pregnant King.
Television icon, Regis Philbin, will be hosting the International Emmy event which attracts over 1,000 global entertainment leaders. During the Gala, the International Academy will present Emmys in nine program categories as well as two special awards. Glee Creator Ryan Murphy, will receive the 2012 International Emmy Founders Award while Korean Broadcasting System President & CEO, Dr. Kim In-Kyu,will receive the 2012 International Emmy Directorate Award. ‘)}
