The New York Mets faced Los Angeles Dodgers Korean lefthanded pitcher Ryu Hyun-Jin today at 1p.m at Citi Field.

The game at Citifield today was packed by a larger than usual contingent of Koreans who attended the game to cheer for Ryu Hyun-Jin. After seven seasons with the Hanwha Eagles of Korea Professional Baseball, in 2013 he became the first Korean to join a U.S. team via the posting system.

On Thursday at 1pm game, Ryu was the reason they were able to win the third game of the series and fly back to Los Angeles after an unremarkable road trip.
