Alison Gold's 'Chinese Food' Stirs Racism

The 12-year-old singer Alison Gold’s pop song “Chinese Food” released on Oct. 14th and now debuts at No. 29 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart and with close to 11 millions hits on youtube. The track has additionally sold 1,000 downloads as of Oct. 20. Funny fact: 30K viewers like the song but more than 150K people dislike or event hate it.

All we have to say is ARK Music Factory (also responsible for Rebecca Black’s “Friday”) should check with a real Chinese person before making the video. Those young girls dressed in full geisha garb and makeup are Japanese, not Chinese. We hope you understand between vastly different Asian cultures, we have different traditions, couture/costumes and fashion.
