MUSEUM OF CHINESE IN AMERICA's FIRST ANNUAL LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) hosted its first ever Lunar New Year dinner at the Museum. The celebratory evening was instrumental in raising funds to support education, one of the core pillars of MOCA’s mission. McDONALD’s® AND CHINATOWN’S P.S. 1 CELEBRATE THE YEAR OF THE HORSE

For the fourth year in a row, McDonald’s and Chinatown’s P.S. 1, Alfred E. Smith Elementary School celebrated the Lunar New Year with a special show for the school’s 600 students. Hosted by Ronald McDonald, the event featured the special cultural performances, a traditional fan and abacus dance performance by #Project Gen, stunts by acrobat Xia di Yang, and a traditional lion dance ceremony by the Chinese Free Mason Athletic Club. « more »
