Whether they come from Argentina, England or Manhattan, tennis fans from all over the world will know about Queens from Aug. 25 through Sept. 8. For the third year in a row, the USTA has donated a kiosk to serve as an information and referral center during the entire 2014 U.S. Open Tennis Championships at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

The Queens Chamber of Commerce and the Queens Tourism Council are providing trained volunteer staffers who are dispensing information on the borough’s best local restaurants, hotels, cultural organizations, and recreational opportunities.

Last Wednesday, elected officials, USTA executives and local leaders gathered in front of the kiosk during Queens Day, a pre-tournament festival with concerts and tennis-related activities.
