Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour Exhibition Opening Ceremonies & Ancient Relics Exhibit: This magnificent exhibit of ancient and sacred relics of the historical Buddha, Shakyamuni, and other great Buddhist masters from India, Tibet and China will be on display at Tibet House from October 17 – 19, 2014.

His Holiness the Dalia Lama has graciously offered several relics of the historical Buddha to the collection that are over 2,600 years old each. Relics have also been offered from the Sakya Reliquary in Tibet and also from Meiktila Museum in Burma that has housed Buddha Relics for many hundreds of years. The tour also features relics from 40 other Buddhist masters from different parts of the world, in all there are over 3,000 relics in this collection. This non-sectarian exhibition is intended for people from all walks of life to learn about and to experience these historical relics.
