Renowned fashion designer Danny Nguyen will unveil his PREIMERE SHOWING IN NEW YORK CITY, for his Fall/Winter 2015 collection “The Story of Elves” as the leading designer for NOLCHA FASHION WEEK taking place at the prestige Pier59. This season, Danny will take this collection to greater heights by expressing and tapping up artistic side to unleash creative fabric designs with Flowers and whimsical colors. Danny Nguyen is known for taking huge risk and breaking barriers that don’t limit his as a fashion designer but showing his diversity as an exceptional artist. Taking fashion ideas to the next level and always staying true to his mysterious stories painted through the beautiful garments constructed because each piece tells a little of the story. Danny is also working with luxury jewelry brand, Reico Designs by Tiffany Reico. Reico Designs expresses a unique sense of past blended with modern style and contemporary material, inspired by the art of the pre-Columbian era of North, Central and South America.

Born in Vietnam, Danny and his family relocated to Houston when he was six. Danny’s fashion career began at the age of ten, assisting his mother at the family alteration shop. After nearly a decade and experiencing first-hand, Danny opened his own design and tailors and design studio at the age of 24. Since that time, Danny has held 2 major fashion shows per year, highlighting his Fall/Winter & Spring/Summer collection; with the attendance increasing each showing (over 600 attended his last unveiling) the projected number is an anticipating increase of over 1200 attendee’s.

Danny has garnered several accolades since opening his studio and has been featured in such publications as Alize La Vie magazine an Manhattan fashion magazine, astound magazine, Ikonik magazine, Vainstyle magazine an Houston magazine as well as Modern Luxury, Culture Map, Houstonian, Yellow magazine, 002 Magazine, Threads and the Houston Chronicle. Danny is also active in the community; some would call him a philanthropist in participating in charity fundraising for organizations such as APAHA, Houston AIDS Foundation, Abandoned Little Angel Foundation, Memorial Herman, Texas Children, Asian Chamber of Commerce, and Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce, AAFS, among many others.
