In support of the adoption of the post-2015 Development Agenda and in honor of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, Sep. 29th 2015 there was an United Nations 70th Anniversary Reception, honoring Ambassador Donoghue of Ireland and Ambassador Kamau of Kenya for their work in negotiating the Post-2015 Development Agenda.

Ms. Alice Wu, President of the American Oriental Arts Foundation started the event with an opening remarks. Special VIPs attended the reception including Mr. Man Hee Lee, a world peace activist, and he was awarded “Noble Man of the Year” at the We Care for Humanity’s 3rd Global Officials of Dignity Awards which was held at UN Millennium Hotel in August, 2015 as well as Mrs. Nam Hee Kim, the Chairwoman of Mannam Org.

“Art inspires action, and action is required to spread the new Post-2015 Development Agenda”, said Ambassador Lorenzo of the Commonwealth of Dominica about the importance of culture at the United Nations.

Kat Graham, Toto, and James Bond star Robert Davi performed at the reception. Many stars also attended the event including Jon Michael Hill, Kelly Bensimon, Heather Thomson, Stephanie Newhouse, Bravo’s Chantelle Fraser, and R&B star Olivia Longott.
