Independent Bookstore Day is on April 30th this year. What better way to celebrate than by visiting some of Brooklyn’s awesome, diverse collection of independent bookstores – and possibly win some free books?

Much as we would love to visit all of the borough’s 20+ bookstores, that’s a lot for one day. So instead we invite you to plan your own self-directed bookstore crawl. Visit five or more stores and complete a task at each one (and post it on social media using our #bkbookstorecrawl hashtag), and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win prizes including gift cards to some of the sponsoring stores and some cool free books.
