The Internet of Things (IoT), a concept that describes everyday objects having network connectivity, is becoming an increasingly important topic of discussion both in the business world and society at large. With the number of devices connected to the Internet rapidly increasing, IoT has the capacity to revolutionize the way we work and live. This program examines IoT in the United States and Japan, particularly the latest IoT innovations and application of IoT in business to increase profitability and improve efficiency. The speakers also discuss IoT’s role in addressing the aging society in Japan. Lastly, the program explores the challenges and uncertainties associated with IoT.
